Qualification:

-  Brothers or sisters in the church life between the age of 35 and 65 with elders’ recommendation (Note: All those under the age of 35 are encouraged to apply for the FTTA. However, if they are unqualified due either to the college graduation requirement or personal constraints, saints may still apply to the middle-age training).

-  Saints may attend the training on a short-term basis (see short-term training application)

Lodging:

-  Training-arranged housing available.

-  Southern California trainees may stay at home and commute. (see faqs: Where do trainees live?)

Transportation:
Trainees are encouraged to provide their own vehicle.

Clothing:

-  Brothers: White long sleeve shirt, tie, long pants, dark-colored shoes and socks.

-  Sisters: Clothing should be worn with modesty and sobriety, proper and appropriate with no sandals. Sleeveless blouse and slacks are not allowed in training classes.

Insurance:

-  Medical: Major medical insurance strongly recommended.

-  Applicants must fill out the Health Questionnaire form and mail it along with the application form when applying. They must also be screened for TB before arrival.

-  Either – have a negative TB skin test within the last year
    or  have a negative chest x-ray within the last year
    or  have finished drug treatment/prophylaxis for TB

-  Applicants are strongly recommended to have blood tests for hepatitis B; if the tests are negative, they should be immunized.

-  Short-term trainees of one month or longer must at least meet the requirement of tuberculosis screening.

-  Note: Results of the medical screening should be submitted along with the application for the training. (see application procedure & forms)

Cost:

-  Full-time trainee: US $2400 per term of 15 weeks including lodging and meals; or $160/week.

-  Short-term trainee: US $160/week (includes lodging and meals)

-  Commuter: US $900 per term of 15 weeks or $60/week (no lodging and meals)

-  Personal expenses: Not included in the above

Option 1: Full payment on 9/6/2010
Option 2: Every 4 weeks on 9/6/2010, 10/4/2010, 11/1/2010 and 11/29/2010.

-  Classes:
Monday – 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Tuesday to Friday – 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Wednesday – 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM

- Gospel service:
Friday & Saturday evenings – Neighborhood children’s meetings and church small group meetings
Saturday – Gospel visitation and follow-up
Lord’s Day – Attend Lord’s table & prophesying meeting

Registration:

1. Complete the application form. You may duplicate the form as needed.

2. Obtain local elders’ recommendation and signature.

3. Mail or fax application form back by August 15, 2010.

4. The Middle-age Training office will contact you by e-mail, mail, fax, or phone upon approval of your application.

5. Further details of the training will be furnished upon acceptance notification.
